Su McPherson is an Auckland artist. Her peg dolls were born from a passion for craft, recycling and our Pacifica and New Zealand culture. Her hand crafted "girls" are all unique and come dressed in a range of fabulous outfits. The materials that she uses include tapa cloth, tea towels, blankets and fringing, shells, coconut fibre, tikis and feathers. These one-of-a-kind dolls embody the true spirit of Aotearoa, incorporating elements of Pacifica and New Zealand culture into each design.
